Beginning ballet classes around new york city?

anyone live in new york or Staten island know where the best place to go for beginning ballet classes for a 23 year old ? what would i have to wear, whats it like? wanna try it but kinda embarrassed to!

Both are in New York City and offer classes for adults, beginner through professional level.  The websites will give you all sorts of information so you can decide if either studio is a good fit for you.   As for what to wear, you can always call the studio and ask.  Some studios are a bit more relaxed than others regarding attire, so best to just ask.
