Behavioral / Emotional disorder Project -- activity?

Select about 5 of your classmates...give them a title...SED (Seriously Emotionaly Disturbed), ADHD, Autistic,  SLD...etc...

Have them mixed throughout the room....ask them to exhibit the behaviors of their disorder while you are sharing info...with the class...This will greatly disturb your other audience.....after a few minutes of kaos...then...share with the entire group ...you would like their input on how to deal with the behaviors that they just observed by some of their peers....  then...after this interactive activity....name and give descriptions of various disorders....You could even do inappropriate interactions with those you selected to have disorders...ex... tell them to Shut Up!, Be Still, Don't Talk, Sit up Straight, Don't Wiggle...etc.... Then when you ask your audience for input on how to deal with the various behaviors that were exhibited...you may ask them....What did I do that I could have done better or more effectively..????

A great activity would be to spend a day in a classroom. Seeing and doing goes along way.
