  1. It sounds like the same lender holds both your car note and your house note.

    No... this is NOT kosher.

    However, if you make "too much money," finding a lawyer to assist in this may be difficult.

    It's not clear if you're making payments electronically. If so, you need to terminate those agreements immediately.

    If they have access to your bank account, you should take most of your money out and establish a new account somewhere else.

    Then, either you or someone else needs to get the mortgage servicer out of your car payments, as I'm guessing you need the CAR to have the JOB to make the mortgage payments.
