When I worked as a delivery driver for Sysco Foods we delivered to a Chinese Restaurant that had a huge vat of rice in the back made up with no lid. It was summertime and flies were abundant. A server came to the back, shooed the flies away and put the rice on a plate and went out and served it. You don't have to always worry about rats and workers.

worked in alot of nice restaurants, never did anything like that. my advice is go to eat at nice places with happy looking employees

everyone who works in reatuarant sees some things, but this article is over the top....restaurants do not allow this type of behavior as general rule, and the urine would have made som,eone deathly ill as in NJ when it occured and the restaurant was closed and the man sued........this story is appaling, but I believe it is somewhat imbellished  and this disgusts me another person making money off fear.....yes, food falls on floor and it gets picked up and served......things happen but not as general rule,  most servers are good people as well as the kitchen workers......

I am a server and have been in the restaurant business for over 5 years. I would never do anything like that. Also, I have never seen anyone do anything like that. I treat people the same way I want to be treated when I go out. I wouldn't use a dirty dish so why would I serve one to someone else. I believe in karma. It's a b****!!!!
