Beignets in new york????

I am going to be visiting NYC in about 2 weeks and want to know where I can go have some tasty beignets since ive heard so much about them but never have tried them. Also what is the difference between beignets and zeppolis?

  1. Zeppoli's are Italian( and you'll get them at the feast in Little Italy on Mulberry St.( I think there's one coming up).

    Beignets are French( very similar) but more square in shape.

    The famous place for beignets is New Orleans.

    You can also make the Beignets yourself.

    they make a mix in a box( easy to do).


  2. a bengiet is a french donut. nyc isnt really a french city. but it does have an international flair. try a good french restaurant or bakery.

    if you want real begniets go to new orleans and get the from cafe du monde. you can get the mix they use on their website.
