  1. Probably China, i think that the days of the US ascendancy in sport is over. Particularly in the track and field events.

  2. Previous Games, the highest gold normally are US, Russia & Japan.

The world is changing and so are the scores.

The host country usually will have the best chance for most gold as they can put in the most participants for the games. For sure  for in the  gold race will be UK, US, China, Russia and some EU countries with large number of participants..

  3. wtf are you asking if were psychic or something lol

but obviously by being british im going to say hopefully britain but it will be between china usa and britain i think

  4. CHINA again.

  5. China again, I would think.

  6. Home support will help GB but we don't have the population China and America have. This means they have more chance of finding a sporting sensation. Therefore they will always be at the top.

  7. I think it will be a lot closer - home advantage counts for quite a lot. Team UK may seriously contest 3rd spot with Russia and may just pip them. China is still improving so I would take them to hold off the US for top spot.

  8. CHINA, USA and RUSSIA.

  9. Kind of a lame name for someone who thinks you can "win" the Olympics LOL,

you must be a foreigner, those idiots are the only ones who make stuff up like that.

  10. China will get it again, but the teams to watch coming up are UK and Germany.  United Kingdom will be hosting and won quite a few medals in various sports.  Germany has stated they will adopt a China like medal scheme for the next Olympics using East Germany's successful program.  US and Russia will be at or near the top.

Chinese people will start to get a hangover from winning in the process of grinding it's athletes into early retirement.  It was painful to watch Yao Ming run up and down the floor on the foot he broke not so long ago.  China in 2012 and then they will fade out a bit.

  11. US won by 9 medals where I'm from, just a little instigating for the petty foreigners ; )
