Being 17 years old, would both your parent have to sign to let you out of the country?

my daughter will be 17 and she wants to study abroad. she hasn't seen her father in a year. will she need his permission to leave the country?

yes, she needs to have his permission unless you have been granted full custody of her by the courts. if not, then she'll need his written notarized consent.

if it's impossible to obtain, then just wait anotehr year till she turns 18.
