Spain are currently playing the FIFA World Cup 2014 qualifiers and http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Georgia-c2903 are in their group. The Spanish midfielder believes that Spain’s opponents in the group stage are tough and they will make things difficult for them.
Xavi Hernandez spoke highly of the team which will be facing the Spanish squad.
The Spaniard spoke about the pitch and said:
“They have a large pitch, so that's good for our football. It's not going to easy for us to be in the World Cup, although we may take that for granted.”
Xavi Hernandez also said that even though the Spanish squad has won the World Cup and the European title, it means nothing when it comes down to playing the qualifiers again.
The Spaniard was quoted as saying:
“Being World and European champions means nothing. The group is still a complicated one. We've seen Georgia and they are a tough opponent - they close down well and have players with a lot of talent.”
The World and European champions made history when they managed to win both the international competitions in succession. However, this wasn’t the only record which they managed to make in history.

Xavi further added:
“We won't vary our philosophy. We want to dominate, go on the attack, with football that brings great joy to the fans. We respect the opponents, knowing what their strengths are, but we won't lose the humility that has led to our success.”
