of course their is corruption, but after WWII Japan went through land reform and the Philippines didn't. and we all know who well Japan is doing right now.

their are taxes, but their is no enforcement (IRS). as my dad told me about paying taxes in the Philippines "just tell the accountant how much you want to pay and pay it, or not"

in the USA a poor person can get some credit cards, build up a credit history, get a mortgage, then after 30 year, they will own property, which then can be passed on to his children, and the children can then build on that wealth. in the Philippines, their is no credit system, if you are born poor, you will die poor.

i over simplified alot of things, but basically the Philippines needs to adopt a few socialist programs.

I'm only fourteen. So I might be misinformed.

But we could start taxing the insanely rich, if we don't do that already.

We could give up the war and use the money that we put into it for

developing our country and therefore, creating more jobs. There are so many things we could do.

I'm sorry things are that way in the phillipines. I would say look at the past of other prospering countries that have struggled in the past to see how they over came it. Then apply it to your country, except learn from the other country's mistakes. You have the internet, it should be easy enough to research.

I am not a Filipino but would say a major change in the educational philosophy of who Filipinos are and how they have evolved might give a clue as to where to begin new thought and action.
