I have been searching the web for preschools around Dayton, OH. I am looking in the Kettering, Centerville, West Carrollton, and Miamisburg area. Any suggestions?? Why are preschool tuition rates so high? What if you can't afford the monthly tuition, but want your child in the preschool program? HELP!! Thanks.

  1. I live in Ohio and I work for a Goddard school. I suggest checking out the one in your area. Visit the building and ask for a tour, then ask for a meeting with the director or owner to discuss tuition rates. I may work there, but I am clueless about how much it costs to go there... though I know it isn't cheap. But neither is the care and education your child will be getting (as in... they WILL be learning LOTS!)

I donno about the Dayton area, but around here there are Kindercares, Children's World, and La Petit. Those are pretty well known, so you might want to check them out as well.

    Good luck!

  2. Check out the Pathfinders Preschool which is run by the Kettering City Schools.  It is located in the Barnes building on Far Hills near Stroop.  Excellent program and was quite affordable when my son went there (he's 11 now).  You can get info by contacting Kettering Bd. of Ed.   I believe they offer $$$ assistance also.

Also Wee Haven on Schantz Rd. is very good but kinda pricey.
