Being a good friend of is it the truth?

well i will start from the beginning my best friends boyfriend dumped her then he asked me out i asked my friend if it was ok if i said yes and she said its ok. should i believe her? is she just saying its ok because she is trying to be a good friend?

Well it depends, if she was somewhat ok with the break up then she probly means it, but if she was REALLY upset by it, she is just saying its ok and trying to be a good friend. I owuld only go out with him if you REALLY like him, not just becuase he's good lookin' but if you actually are practically in love with him, it will hurt your friend either way to see you with him.

Well, looks like she is a good friend to you, but you gotta ask yourself, "Is it really okay to go out with my friend's ex"?  Well, I think you should back out because friendship is more important.

well it wouldn't be right for you to date her ex after they just broke up.

when she says it's okay, it's really sometimes not. wait for like a week, and go out with him. so you wouldn't be like bragging about things..
