Question:

Being a good runner???

I have started running everyday. I love running, but i'm a beginner so its hard (obviously). are there any good tips for being a good runner? Does running really help your heath and help you lose weight?

  1. Get some good shoes. its hard to run if you aint confortable, sweetie.


  2. great job - keep going!!! running does burn a lot of calories, but you need to make sure you not overdoing it - if pains, occur, relax a day or two to give your muscles a chance to relax.  make sure you breath slow, and also, if you want to increase your speed, sprint up hills - it strengthens your leg muscles. stretching is extremely important, also:) have fun

  3. just keep running !!!!  

  4. Relax, take deep full breaths, don't gasp or pant.

    Be sure you have plenty of water.

    Warm up and cool down, stretch everyday.

    Running does improve your cardiovascular system, and can be a part of a weight control program, but you can always eat more calories than you burn even if you are a marathon runner.

    The most important thing is to enjoy what you are doing so you will do it.
