Being a high school teacher?

Hello everybody...does anyone know what credentials you need to be a high school teacher...I want to be a graphic communications teacher, but im wondering what credentials and degree I need...?

you need a degree (B.A) in the field you want to teach.  then you need to get a single subject teaching credential which will probably take a year.  at least that's the deal in CA
