Question:

Being an English Teacher in a Foreign Country?

I wanted know how much a Foreign Language teacher(English,German,Russian) in Russia (St. Petersburg or Vladivostok, Novosibirsk, Moscow) would make as a high school teacher or middle school. Also would my American Teaching Degree work in Russia and would i be able to Turn around and Teach Russian in The US (New York) or Germany(Ostfriesland)?

Public schools in Russia probably do not pay well at all.  However, you can find jobs at private schools that pay between $1000 and $1500 with your teaching credentials (Maybe $2000 if you look hard) -teaching English.  You may even find a good university too.  Most schools provide housing also.  Other languages are probably good too, but may not pay as well as English.  You education degree is probably the best thing to have for teaching overseas, however it may be wise to look into having a TESOL or a CELTA certificate.  

    Working in New York or Germany as a Russian teacher probably depends on your experience, your education and your level of fluency.  You may want to post that as a stand alone question on Yahoo Answers.
