Being called thoughtful?

A lot of people have said I am very thoughtful. What do they mean by that?

Meaning you are considerate.. you are kind.. you always think of others.. you never forget a birthday.. you always remember special occasions.. you are a great friend is what they mean.. it is a nice compliment to be called thoughtful.. it means you think about others and consider their wishes..''' like if you remember someones anniversary or a birthday of some acquaintance and send a card.. they would consider that very thoughtful that you did this even if you don' t talk to them on a regular basis...

You must be doing a lot of things that make people feel special, like giving small gifts here and there, and being sensitive to each person's unique needs and situations.  When people are saying this to you, they are usually very grateful about what you have done.  I think it requires both high levels of IQ and EQ for someone to be called thoughtful.  It's really one of the best compliments one can get from others, I think.
