I'm due October 7th, with our first little girl, she is my WORLD and i am VERY VERY VERY excited and READY and i pray everyday to God, that she is perfect, and i have a WONDERFUL family, but there is one problem, I'm extremely emotional/stressed!!! i want everything to be perfect when she gets here, i always keep our house cleaned and perfect, just in case she comes early! My boyfriend doesn't make it better though, and I'm wondering if he may be the problem??? Example: his work sch is CRAZY and he is off every Friday, but loves to spend this time with his friends which is FINE but they drink every SINGLE weekend, sometimes ALL weekend (staying up until 4 or 5 in the morning), and i HATE it, he doesn't help me with dishes, clothes, he says I'm always complain, never happy, talks about my weight, jokes about having s*x with other girls and just says nasty stuff when he is with his friends (which i think if VERY disrespectful) but it has gotten to the point to where he spends 2 hours out of the whole day with me and he feels he has done his job at spending time with me..like all i get is 2 hours, and NO MORE??? Im just confused, am i being over dramatic or what??? I just want our baby to be perfect and I'm always stressing myself out about how things can go wrong (like the umbilical cord wrapping around her neck or her being a stillborn..I'm so SCARED, SHE is my EVERYTHING and i will do everything for her, i just want her to be perfect..PLS give me advice/ opinions...

  1. okay hun well heres the deal i am due oct 3rd and expecting as well my boyfriend which is 21 goes out drinking with his buddies every weekend and the way i look at it is go ahead and have fun while you can buddy because when this baby comes you are in for a rude awakening. i do feel like our boyfriends act the same way but then again i think i may be stressing, just relax and wait till the baby come hopefully it will cahnge him! good luck and congrats!!

  2. I am going to try to say this in the nicest way. It sounds like your boyfriend is still in his single life and to be honest very disrespectful. You need to have a heart to heart with him. Every women worries when pregnant this is normal. Although listening to what you are saying about your boyfriend it sounds like you need this baby for love.

  3. Hey! First of all, CONGRATULATIONS! You sound like you are prepared, excited, and going to be a great mommy!

Sounds like your boyfriend just hasn't really realized how big this is. I bet when the baby is born he will be totally different. Maybe he is just trying to have fun before his drinking all night, turns into changing diapers all night! lol. But you are being completely normal in being stressed and anxious. You don't know when the baby is coming, you want everything to be ready, and your just being prepared. Maybe your boyfriend doesn't really understand what your going through. Actually, I know he doesn't! And I worried about my son CONSTANTLY when I was pregnant. And the bad news, it just gets worse after they're born! Lol. While I was pregnant, I thought

"What if the cord is wrapped around his neck?"

"What if he has a huge strawberry birthmark on his face?"

"What if he has 6 toes!"

Then, after he was born, I worried about

"Omg what if he gets sids?"

    "Is he breathing!?"

Now that he is walking Im constantly scared he will fall.

And when he was 6 months old, he fell off the bed. I thought I was going to have a heart attack! He was fine though.

The truth is, as a mother, our job is to worry. And you will worry as long as you live! And thats good. Thats your mothers instinct. Men just don't really have the nurturing feel that we do. Your boyfriend isn't being as sensitive and understanding as he should right now, but he will be. Hang in there, not much longer. Being a mom is a huge change, but its wonderful. Please keep in touch. Maybe we can be pen pals. mandiliz06@yahoo.com    Good luck and get back to me!
