tv is so boring and i have no money to shop so i can't go outside (hang out with friends needs money, i hate walking to the park, can't go though a day without spending money) so i'm usually in front of a computer all day long, like more than 12 hours or 19 hours. But does it do something bad to you like your eyes? i'm already wearing glasses, what the worst could happen, i would go blind? TELL ME?

  1. Eyestrain, fatigue, and headaches are the worst that can happen.  To avoid these, take breaks.  Look away for 20 seconds every 20 minutes.  Take a 5 minute break every hour or two.  Remember to blink often or use eye drops to keep your eyes lubricated.  Have your screen at least arm's length away, further if possible.  Always have adequate room lighting and don't have your monitor too bright.

  2. being in front of computer make blinking 3 time less that normal and that with time became as eye dry

anther thing that your glasses must have an interflection coat to protect your eye from the computer waves

focusing for a lot of time on computer make some time headache......

the solution of this problem are:

    -interflection glasses

-20/20/20 rule (after 20 min move your eye look in something far about 20 feet for 20 second )

-there is new glasses that keep your eye worm but put and worm compress after work........

  3. relax, dont be paranoid.... all that will happen is you'll get a headache after a long time "thats what happens to me" when i play highly graphic games for long periods of time...

but if you're just sitting there on say "msn" i doubt anything will happen...
