Being more money *smart*

Question

I'm now just beginning to budget my money but i also want to afford nice things sometimes.. is there a way you can save for something very expensive like a house or car long term but budget for something like a new rug or whatnot short term?

of course you need rewards a long the way -- you should have three saving plans -- one for short term like your rug and middle like the car or house and of course long term for retirement!!! a word of advise when you do buy car and if you make car payments when you pay the last payment keep making payments to yourself and so when  you need a new car you will have the money --- good luck in your future!!!
