During India’s preceding summer’s tour of England, Aaron was omitted from the side’s playing XI, while other youth bowlers got their share of performance. However, the youngster still retained his calm, and was said to have been quite active during team’s net sessions.
Speaking to Mail Today, Aaron stated that it has always been his desire to represent his national colours, but knows the fact that being selected was not in his hand, and that all he could do was to wait and keep improving under the department.

There are a lot of things which go into selecting the playing XI and I always knew that being patient was the key. It is a trait instilled in me by my grandmother,” said Aaron.
“Parents always want their children to get the best in life so even they would get itchy at times as to why I wasn't playing. But my grandmother is the most levelheaded person. She told me to keep up the good work and wait for the right time,” the 21-year-old added.
As for Aaron’s recent outing for the Men in Blue, the right-armed medium pacer’s patience did finally pay him off well after he trailed on to marking an exceptional premier for India.
