Hi. I am currently working in a food production factory and getting $19.14 per hour as a casual.

They asked me if I would like to go onto full time. They said the pay would be something around the lines of $15.75 or something?? Can anyone share some light on this?? I live in Brisbane Australia.. Thankyou

  1. Helo, going  FT could be good it depends if this is what you want at least you have regular set hours unlike casual where they can vary each week. You would get holiday and sick pay in this also. If you want more money try looking for another FT job with a greater hourly rate. I think FT is a good thing!

  2. Well, what else are you going to gain by moving to full time? Benefits, etc. you have to take all of those things into consideration, maybe the drop in pay will be worth it overall.

  3. you lose

    $3.39 a hour

the option not to work when asked

    you gain

    full time job

    sick-pay

    holiday pay

    overtime option

    paid for public holiday's

  4. Being full time but getting lower payments? Do they offer any benefits such as medical treatments etc? If not, then don't! But if yes, consider it carefully before making decision.

Btw, why don't you consider building your own business along with your permanent job? Choose those which can be done in your spare time. I do that and I am still building it. It looks promising. If you want to know more, check this: http://www.moreinfo247.com/10037444/Free
