Want to find out if I have Irish or Scottish roots?

I'm very red. My entire face, forehead, body, neck, hands, feet, legs , etc.

Who do you see more with an entire body of red? Irish or Scottish.

Not talking about just a patch of red on the cheeks.

  1. you might actually be a native american

    or

    some devil creature no offense

  2. I just read a news story that Neanderthals had red hair, so maybe that's it.

  3. absolutely irish...

or a tomato.. (sorry, inopportune word!)

    irish guys are s**y!

  4. There's just no way of telling your background by color of skin. I'm Irish with olive based skin.

  5. I'm irish and I only know a few people who have red hair, thats just a stereotype, your ancestors could be from anywhere in Europe.:)

  6. The best way to find out your ancestral roots is to write down your family members' names and birth dates.   Then your grandparents' and great grandparents' information.  Ask about their children, who they married, and when.

Then take that information to the LDS church (Mormons) and use their genealogical research rooms to find out where your ancestors emigrated from.

You can do some of this research online by yourself, but the LDS church is free and a lot more complete.

It's impossible to tell what ancestry you have by your physical coloring.  There are "black" Irish who have Spanish heritage, and lots of Scots and Irish with Viking roots.  You may even have a physical illness which makes your skin red like that.

  7. ah sure your Irish to be true you only get that red by being Irish
