In 2006 I tried advertising in yellow pages for my co. and for 3 -4 months they did not have the correct contact ph # for my business but published the ad regardless. From this point on it has been h**l. They have threated to take me to court. What are my next steps.

  1. Try the Better Business Bureau or a TV news like channel 4's "Whats Bugging You" by Saul Garza?

  2. First off pay for the ad so as to keep your credit rating intact. Then take them to small claims court for the amount of the ad and any possible lost revenue due to the incorrect phone number.

  3. do you have all your info you had to fill out and approve for publishing?

if it gives correct phone number and they published the wrong number you seem to have a case in small claims

I would ask yellow pages to provide all paper work submitted if you can't find yours

everything has to be approved and signed off on prior to print
