Question:

Being vegitarian?

My friend told us how we think eating meat is natural because we've done it so long but

some animals NEED meat like they couldn't and wouldn't survive on veggies and other food alone because they wouldn't be able to digest it unless they had multiple stomachs like a cow.

Now... does that mean that it's just right for humans to not eat meat?

I'm totally against animal cruelty like skinning and wearing leather and fur because animals don't do that

  1. Its the circle of life. animals eat animals to survive.

But what we do is cruelty. Its harsh to keep these animals captive for our satisfaction. And like you said, Skinning and wearing leather.

  2. No, we have to eat meat!!! we need the protein, the easiest place to find that is meat.

  3. "animals don't like that" that's the only reason?? Wow, I would NEVER be a vegetarian because it's natural to eat those meats. Replacing them with something fake is unhealthy, and weird...

  4. You have to remember that animals are very different from humans.  If we choose not to eat meat, we have the option of eating soy products, like tofu, while meat-eating animals obviously don't have that option.  Our bodies where made and operate very differently from animals as well, and our eating conditions depend on our environment.  Animals have nothing except what they have in front of them.  Tigers, for example, can't just go to the store and buy a pack of tofu or extra vegetables for their meals like we can.

  5. Hi, some animals are carnivores which eat only meat, humans are known as omnivores which means they can eat a diet of plants and meat.

As humans we have a choice, a human could not solely live on meat alone and be healthy, but can be healthy on a carefully balanced plant diet.

Most people are vegetarians because they disagree with the cruelty and suffering of the factory farming industry and the cruelty to battery chickens(although some free range are not that much better)
