Beings from another planet

Question

If beings from another planet were to land on earth, how do you think our world would greet them? Do you think we would be on the defensive or greet them with open arms? You first have to believe that we are not alone. I for one believe there's life elsewhere in the universe. Would you want to go to another planet? I know I'm asking a lot, but I am curious as to how others will respond.

If they landed at the white house army would kill them.

If they landed in my backyard I would treat them as honored guests.

If they landed in George Bush backyard he would hide in his tree house

hi, well, i totally believe in life from another universe. just because we cant see it, does it mean its not there? ! i think if the millitry wasn't involved in the first meet then like most people they would probably very scared, curious, exited, and scared some more lol. but i would love to see them.

i think they would be fine here.  if i did not know any better i would say they are here now.   i'm sure bush would not turn them away and give them a green card.  janet Reno could have shot them in a home invasion  of the sort.  i live in gulf breeze florida and i have seen some strang **** around here.

It really can't be answered, maybe how these people treat us, I would suggest them to call army just in case before its to late, depends wheather they are nice or not.

we would be terrified to see another intelligent civicilization! We would be confused and I bet a lot of people would go to the extremes because they are scared. I dont think humans would be defensive because most like the visiting civilization is more advanced than us. Like you i dont believe we are alone in this universe, that is tooo good to be true. I would love to go to another planet, just the journey to get there would be amazing and ver very dangerous!\

it depends, will they greet us defensively or with open arms? if they greet us defensively, we probably will too, and if the greet us nicely, we will probably do the same. as for the question regarding going to a planet, i would like to have study done on the planet before i even attempt to go there, because if the conditions are like the planet venus, it could be disastrous.
