Belfast International airport to Castle Ward (Downpatrick)?

Question

hello, I need directions to get to Castle Ward from Belfast International airport by bus and/or by train. The directions on the national trust web site aren't much help.

http://www.translink.co.uk will give you bus timetables to Downpatrick from the airport you'll need to take the airport express 300 to Europa bus centre then another bus to Downpatrick, I assume that buses run from Downpatrick to Strangford but can't imagine they'd be too frequent so would probably recommend a taxi from Downpatrick bus station.

Castle Ward is about 1 mile outside the village of Strangford and about 6-7 miles from Downpatrick

You need to take the Airport Express 300 to the Belfast Europa Bus Centre from the Airport, this service runs every 10 minutes or so and is £6 for a single ticket.  From the Bus Centre you need to take a Route 15 to Downpatrick Bus station from there you will need to get a Route 16E or a taxi, see http://www.accessplace.com/taxi/county-d...
