  1. I always like the cafe on the first floor of the Europa Hotel.  You can get a big comfy seat by the window and have tea and scones, or sandwhiches etc (they do all kinds of food). But it is quite posh and very relaxed and not noisy (so good for talking).  You also get a great view over the street below.  I love going there.

  2. There are a few nice cafes around teh Stranmillis and Botanic areas

  3. awe that's so sweet its best just to stumble upon one rather it being to planned be spontaneous !

    11   good luck   !!

  4. There is the Northern Whig, any of the Clements cafes, Starbucks perhaps. There is also a very nice restaurant place in the House of Fraser, Victoria Square. It is suitable for lunch aswell but might not be suitable for a first date.

Try not to go somewhere very central, like around Primark or Castlecourt becuase these places are very busy. Take her somewhere on the outskirts of the centre, but still in a close walking distance, like the northern whig. There is also a very nice cafe near Botanic Gardens called Conor but is small so if you decide to go here you should probably ring first and see if you can book. If you can't book, it might be better to go for a late lunch, after the busy time. Here's their website:

    Good luck and have fun!
