Belgian Justine Henin upset after forced retirement

After having cited an elbow injury that lasted a long period of time, tennis professional, Justine Henin, of Belgium was forced into retiring from tennis for the second time in her career.
Henin's injury surfaced at the 2010 Wimbledon Championship and the Belgian retired after being eliminated from the third round of the 2011 Australian Open in the Women's singles draw.

Henin recently came around to admitting that she is trying her level best to come to terms with the fact that she was forced to retire from the sport due to an injury. Even though Justine said that all she wants to do is enjoy her life, the former professional
admitted that it was hard for her to part from the courts.

"I regard ending my career more like a sentence that's been handed down than a decision I've made. I've had to deal with a lot of injuries throughout my career but this time, at 29, I just can't go on", said Henin in a press conference recently.

After returning to the sport in the year 2010, Justine's right elbow suffered a ligament fracture as she slipped during her fourth round match against compatriot Kim Clijsters at the Wimbledon Championship.

Justine's elbow was operated on and she returned to the courts in the month of October. Unfortunately, the pain in her elbow did not allow her to add to the 43 Women's Tennis Association singles titles the professional had bagged during her career.

Formerly ranked number one in the world, Justine Henin, bagged seven grand slam titles inclusive of one Australian Open title, two U.S. Open titles and four French Open titles during her career as a tennis professional.
Additionally, the Belgian said that her priority at the moment is to lead as normal a life as she possibly can.
