The Moroccan international says that he wants to leave Montpellier Herault with a good transfer fee in order to help the club that made him what he is today
Last winter, Moroccan international, Younes Belhanda failed to leave Montpellier for Turkish giants, Fenerbahce. The Turkish club’s advances were all in vain but it is clear that the youngster will eventually leave Stade de la
Mosson. However, despite attracting a lot of interest from many top European clubs these days, the young Moroccan has refused to fight his way out of the club.
Even though he has a lot of love for his beloved Montpellier, Belhanda faced the wrath of his fans who feel that the player tried to broker a way out of the club just like Olivier Giroud did when he joined http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Arsenal-c38429 last summer.
However, while talking to reporters regarding this, Belhanda said that he will never do anything of that sort with a club that has been a part of his family for such a long time. Belhanda says that forcing a move out of the club
would be like spitting on his own father.
“For thirteen years, I’ve been at the club and its leaders raised me. Therefore I did not want to leave by fighting with them. It would have been like spitting on my father. This is the modicum of respect I have. I know that there
will never be a divorce between us, because I’m like their child. And we knew that if I did not leave last summer, it could happen in January or June.”
This winter, Fenerbahce tried heaven and earth to bring the player to http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Turkey-c3026 but La Paillade’s management chose to keep hold of the playmaker after the Turks failed to meet the club’s required valuation.
However, Belhanda has said that he will only pack up his belongings when a club is willing to pay Montpellier Herault a lot of money for his services.
“In January, Fenerbahce offered less money than in June to recruit me. My goal is to have a good transfer. If managers and leaders can pocket the maximum, I’d be happy.”
