You immediately think god must of done it?

Im not saying ALL of you do this, but for those who do, can you not see how illogical this statement is?

  1. We expect you to have all the answers because you have an absolute belief that there's no God or creator.  We're trying to analyze you and your thought processes.  And find out how you can be so headstrong in your beliefs without the "answers" or evidence to make that conclusion (when you're supposedly purely evidence-based unlike believers who are faith-based).  Jasmine said it best.

  2. I have never said an athiests do not have all the answers, neither do all the Christains, But the Christains learns from God  More  each day from God. you may ask me a question, & if I don't have the answer, I will be honest, But when the time comes that I do have the answer to your question, I will let you know. You see, Christains are people too, & we learn everyday. In my 38 yrs as a Christain, I do not have all the answers, But all the answers I have given on this site in over 2 yrs. Those answers I do Know. And nothing can change my mind once God shows me something, The Truth can not be change.

  3. It's the old fallacy of "If you agree with me on one point, then you agree with me on everything."

Every scientist I know frequently says "I don't know", which is far more honest than any theist.

  4. because theyre ignorant and think god is the answer to anything.....if there isnt an explanation for something, then god did it. if there isnt proof, then god did it. which is rather ironic isnt it

  5. I think what's illogical is admitting one doesn't have all the answers yet dismisses the notion of a higher being than themselves. Not to believe outright, but to still consider...

  6. The God of the Gaps keeps getting smaller and smaller.. They need to place him somewhere that is not already explained away as being a natural process.

  7. I for one, have never expected an atheist to have all the answers.  In fact, I find your assumption arrogant.

It's not like I started with the notion atheists did it and when they failed me I went to God.

  8. I don't think that. Making generalizations like that is just plain bad.

  9. Our unique ability to think, analyze, and dream proves so much.

It all started from as far as we could remember.

We only know what we are taught or what we learn from observing.

Falsely being taught or not being taught at all does not mean something does or does not exist.

    It is all opinion.

But for sure, there were things before that.

And why does everything have to have a start and or creator?

Infinity has no start nor end.

    The universe is infinite.

  10. I don't think any of us have all of the answers. Nobody is perfect.

  11. Quite honestly,  I think the atheist is more concerned about not having all the answers than the believer is.  Since there is no real scientific basis for atheism (we have an Unprovable God),  they are understandably discomforted by the unknowns.

And since when do we look to an atheist for answers?

  12. They have an 'answer', we readily admit that we do not know everything, or the source.

  13. In return why is it if a christian doesnt have all the answers you immediately think than there is no God.

  14. pardon my bluntness, but the atheist don't have any answers...Christians walk/live by faith not by sight. We live or walk by the logic of the Supernatural not the logic of the natural...That's why Jesus was able to walk on water such was the strength of His faith in the power of the Supernatural, thereby defying the natural law of gravity...Simply put, Supernatural laws supersede natural laws and natural logic...

  15. i believe in God.

humans do not have all the answers .this suggests we are limited/ we have limitations. there are things beyond our (human) understanding.

these things are  as a result of something. so there is  a cause. if man were the cause, we would have all the answers.

we do not have all the answers. there are answers to all questions.

i have found what i was seeking. God has all the answers.

  16. Often God is in the details and in the unexplainable.  And guess what Christians don't always have ALL  the answers either.  Sometimes when God is in control we miss it!

  17. Peace and blessings be upon you.

As long as we learn ,we discover that still more and more to know.

    science has no end .

and the God say that it is only little knowledge which is communicated to us.

Only the God who knows everything and not everything in the holybook.

When they asked the prophet Mohammed about the spirit , he didn't know an answer , he was only saying what the God inspire to him:

This was the answer of the God: Surah 17:

[85] They ask thee concerning the Spirit (of inspiration). Say: "The Spirit (cometh) by command of my Lord: of knowledge it is only a little that is communicated to you, (O men!)"

And the process of believeing and unbelieveing is related to faith ,the God implant it in the hearts of his followers .

and for this cause the God said that ,if he want all poeple everywhere muslims ,he was going to do ,but we can't force anybody to follow the God.

See what the God saying to Mohammed , he wanted the God to guide his uncle but he died before believeing : Surah 28:

[56] It is true thou wilt not be able to guide every one whom thou lovest; but Allah guides those whom He will and He knows best those who receive guidance.

  18. I am a believer, but I would not assume the faulty logic that you present.  I agree that a lot of people do use that "argument", but it is only because, I will admit, most "believers" don't really know anything about what they believe.

The truth is that no one has "all the answers", no matter what they believe.  There is always an element of "faith" (believing what one can not prove), no matter what the religion, even Atheism.  Christians can't prove that God created the world, they believe that God created the world.  Christians can't prove the divinity of Christ, they believe in the divinity of Christ (now watch a hundred Christians respond that they can prove it with the Bible, which again, must be accepted as the "Word of God" by faith).  There are a million things that support certain arguments, true, but nothing that proves anything beyond question, and I think that's the point.  The Bible is full of references to faith, and if all of the answers were known, there would be no role for faith, would there?  I see no reason why you can't also admit openly that you do not have all the answers without abandoning your faith.

  19. Its funny when an atheist doesn't know, it proves god, but when a christian is stumped for reason to answer, they'll call you ignorant and say belief is the answer. XD

  20. Well if they have any drop of logic left in them

they wouldn't claim "goddidit" in the first place.

    lol.

  21. Welcome to the cult of intellectual apathy.

god is just a buzz word for people that don't have the fortitude to say "I don't know."

  22. if they make these statements they know no better and are unable to see beyond the scope of religion and god, clearly this means they are illogical and hence are unable to detect the lack of logic in their arguments *takes breath*

  23. Pardon me, but I am not looking to you , atheist, for any answers.  As if you are the great answer guru on the mountain and it is a crime to seek answers elsewhere.  Pretty smug; high and mighty of you.  You are NOT all that, so please come off of it

    ___

    Ruth, <><

  24. No. I cant see how that is illogical at all. God is the most powerful being in the UNIVERSE (most likely the MULTIVERSE). He is everywhere at once, listening to everyones prayers doing everything, making the world turn round. God made EVERYTHING that there ever is and ever was and ever will be to come. He made you and me and everyone else. And the best part is if we say that we're sorry for everything that we've done we can go spend eternity in heaven, and no it isnt fairly land, its a new physical earth (with no oceans, yeah i know, weird right). Go get your dusty old bible out and read Revelation chapter 21 (its towards the very back).

Get to know him. He's real. Id bet my eternity on it.

    Love Him loads.

  25. In religionism, this is called both logic and proof of god. Surely you can understand that. It is not as silly as it sounds. OK, so it is as silly as it sounds. But still, that is the most powerful evidence of their god that there is.
