Belize intl. airport ---How often is it fogged in?

Question

I was listening to a story of a woman whose flights out of Belize got canceled because of fog. She said that the airport shuts down completely when there's heavy fog and I wondered how often this happens.

My GF and I will be visiting soon and can't risk any delays because my GF has to make connections back to the states and then on to Europe. Thanks in advance.

No fog in belize....just rain

lol maybe that woman confused herself, belize hasa hot climate and it not possible for belize to expereince fog i mean i live here and it doesnt happen here except in dawn off course on winter. maybe her flights were cancelled beacuse of rain and everywhere there is rain and belize is not the only one. im positive that fogging wont happen. when u say soon, like in june or july u are in luck because fog is definitely not going to happen on these time of the months beacuase the climate would be like 90-100 degrees here.

I don't think fog would be a problem in Belize its a tropical country I have travel to nearby Honduras and its never foggy their but maybe in a hurricane their would probably be delays
