Belize - placentia?

Question

hi, does anyone know how long it takes to get to placentia village/sidewalk from the airstrip?

and if i took a taxi, approx how much would it be?

here is a map of placenia and its resorts and it shows you how far it is from the airstrip. if you are taking a taxi from the airstrip to your resort it will maximum of $15.00 per mile, im not sure because where i live it is like $10.00 for one mile but since placencia is a "tourist" place then it will likely be $15.00(bz)

keep in mind that it is not because the belizeans want to take advantage of the tourist but the gas is really expensive..rite now it is $10.00 per gallon and u know taxi have to make their profits since the standard of living in belize is quite expensive.
