Belize: what's up w/Title?

my friend sold a property in Belize. after 4 mos. he is waiting until the transfer of title is complete. is something fishy going on? he's been told the title guy is vacationing in Honduras.

Have no idea, your fiends has to contact some government agent there and see what's happening with the land title. Dont judge the whole country because of one guy not doing the work properly. Belize is a nice place to visit.

We purchased a house in Belize about two years ago and had no problem - smooth sailing all the way.  In our case I think we found a wonderful person to handle the transaction for us and that may have made all the difference.

If it has been four months then there is probably something not right happening.  Your friend needs to do some more investigating and try to push things forward.
