Hi Guys, have got myself a new computer which I want to share the internet connection with downstairs, bought myself a router and followed the instructions and said I was connected to the net, except this computer here is a fossil, running on a Pentium two :) with windows xp sp2, and thus I had to install a ethernet card, however I don't think that this comp can handle it. now I hooked up a laptop and great news I got onto the net with the router, so I went upstairs and logged onto my pc, installed the drivers and the adapter wasn't showing any signs of life, I do still get the "Windows found new hardware" even though I successfully installed the drivers, is this adapter compatible with vista/ or do you guys think it is a dud? my ps3 was picking up the signals, and if you want to know the new pc model its a packard bell imedia 2215.

any help would be great thanks guys.

  1. The adapter does work with Vista. Go on the Belkin website and go to the support section. Look for drivers for the adapter for Vista. By the way, the router isn't very good. I have it and it cuts out all the time, and the PS3 is basically unplayable online as it is so slow.
