Belkin wifi plz help?

i have a laptop and computer the router is connected to the computer. and when i am on the network page on the laptop it has a message saying " the settings on this computer for the network do not match the requirments of the network". both settings are the same when i view properties. when i go on diagnos/repair it has security settings diffrent . any ideas

check settings on both machines and make sure they are both set to private network instead of public.

there are some good online tutorials, just google it.
