  1. If the Virgin connection provides a MODEM with a network connection it will work. If it only has a USB connection you need to buy a modem/router to replace theirs.

  4. It is not a modem; it is just a router with a wireless access point.

    If Virgin Media provides its Internet feed using the Ethernet protocol (which is very probable) it should work properly.
