The former Porto boss termed Rodgers as ‘a family guy’ and a good friend, and revealed his hunger of learning while working alongside him at Chelsea.

“But he was also a coach with ideas, who was ready not just to listen but also to communicate and share.”
Apart from his management role with the senior team at Swansea City and with the youth teams at Reading and Chelsea, Rodgers also remained the head coach of Reading and Watford.
