Torres showed his support to Liverpool by wearing a Liverpool scarf in the Spanish celebrations after his nation’s World Cup triumph.

Torres has said he would discuss his future with new Liverpool manager Roy Hodgson and the board after the World Cup. Hodgson will fly out to Spain today to discuss matters with the Spanish No.9, while left-back Emilliano Insua is set to depart Anfield to join Fiorentina for £5million.
