Belly Piercings....?

What Type of metal bar is best for a belly button piercing? and is a 14 gauge best for getting more of a choice of bars?

Stainless steel or titanium, a banana barbell will be the most comfortable. Standard gauge is 14, so that will give you the greatest choice of jewellery.

Stainless Steel-14g.

Less of a chance of getting infected with the Stainless steel, and 14g is the common size for a belly button piercing. Don't get anything that has pieces dangling from it, because it will get caught and can tear your ring out. Most of my belly button rings I have gotton from Hot  Topic. That is where I find I have the best luck.

I don't know exactly what your first question is asking. But as for the second part.... most belly bars are 14 gauge so it would definitely be better for choices.

When having it pierced, titanium.

It's not magnetic, which means if you have any medical difficulty it won't be affected. It also has been proven to heal quicker and easier.

When it has healed fully, i'd reccommend changing to fully plastic bars, they look just as nice, but cause no infections, whereas metal ones can bring back recurring infection.

Once the piercing has fully healed, they all end up around the same size, so don't worry about what bar you choose for now, because you'll still be able to wear any afterwards.
