  1. it doesnt hurt as much as you might be thinking..

  2. it doesn;t really matter if u eat or not..

    i got mine in january

i agree that the part that hurt the most was the

    clamp.

to tell u the truth i didnt feel the needle.

i was laying there and the lady was like

'alrite all done!' i was like

    'already!' the she started laughing..

so i doubt u have anything to worry about good luck!

  3. So the whole age thing... sorry people don't think you're not mature enough. If your parents are willing to vouch for your maturity, I say go for it! (assuming you legally can in your state. Some states won't allow you to get body piercings done, even with parental consent, until the age of 16)

If I were you, I wouldn't eat immediately before getting the piercing done. Try to eat a few hours before hand, so that your stomach can settle before going to get it done, but also so you won't be starving and feel the need to eat right afterward.

When I got mine done, it hurt a bit, but nothing too horrible. I feel that if you really want a piercing (or tattoo), it really doesn't matter how much it's gonna hurt in the end. Pain shouldn't be a deciding factor in these sorts of decisions, cause pain is only temporary, but body art is forever. You can always live through the pain, and then you'll have a lovely bellybutton ring to look at. :)

I experienced the most pain during the next two days when I sat down, actually. Something about the way your skin stretches when you sit down...

Well, good luck to you, don't worry too much about the pain cause it'll be worth it, and hope it goes well!

  4. I had mine done when I was 14 and it was fine,, the clamping is thee' only thing that really hurts but its like a 5 second sting its like getting pinched right there, & about the hallow needle going through trust me fast and like I said before a 5 second pain and in the end your for sure going to love it! It honestly doesn't matter if you eat or not because either way you can get it done!

  5. you should eat before you go, if you don't your blood sugar will be low and you'll be more at risk for feelling lightheaded, fainting etc.  my piercer didn't use a clamp, she didn't need to, the needle did hurt pretty bad though.

personally i think your too young, if you do get it, it will end up migrating and rejecting becuase your body is still growing.

  6. I was about your age when i had mine. you can eat whatever i did, but i thought the clamp hurt the most. I didnt even notice the needle. Though my body didnt like it and it was rejected. now i have an amazing scar.

  7. If you are worried that you might throw up eat bananas.  They taste the same coming up as they do going down!

Seriously, from what I have heard, belly button pierces have a fairly high rate of failure.  Good luck.
