Belly button peircing??

ok so i want my belly button peirced but everybodys says that if ur too fat you cant get it done.. so i just want to kno if you have to be a certain weight?

not true my sister was overweight he belly sticked out and i think she was prego at the time she got it done and she was fine. but she took it out cause she doesnt want it anymore.

well if you pierce your belly button you will draw more attention to it so if your comfortable with the way your belly looks go for it

First of all sassmaster, I am American and I agree with you. I will never understand the allure of tattoos or piercings. I especially don't understand people who get religious tattoos when Leviticus 19:28 clearly states, "Ye shall not make any cuttings in your flesh for the dead, nor print any marks upon you: I am the LORD." That's an issue for discussion another time but you see where I'm going with it.

Piercings and tattoos are plain stupid to me, and I don't get what appeal they hold. The only time I remotely like the look of a piercing is when an attractive woman has her stomach (and only her stomach) pierced. Even then, the piercing does not make her hotter it only attracts your eye to it. I would just as soon not have the piercing there myself as it's unneeded to me.

As to your question about weight, I'd recommend bypassing getting a hole punched in your abdomen, unless it's what you really want. I don't know any strict rules about a maximum weight limit for people who wish to get piercings there, but as a rule of common sense it doesn't look good for larger girls to have them. I'd say not to get one unless you're under 150 pounds personally. When it gets between 150 and 175 or above it gets pretty iffy where the necessity of it all comes into play. And I wouldn't recommend anyone over 200 pounds getting a stomach piercing unless they are planning on towing something via a long chain attached from the piercing on their torso.

Bottom line is this: It's your choice and not mine although I advise you not to get one, and to my knowledge there is no weight limit you speak of.

nope and the fatter you are the better you look w/ it done ... I mean being obese isn't attractive but just becuase you have a belly button ring it doesn't detrackt from your bones sticking out ... so if your confortable with your body don't loose the weight just get it done

You don't have to be a certain weight, but if you're a little on the plus side...why would you want it anyway? I don't mean to be mean, but do you plan on showing it off?? Not to mention, its very cliche nowadays. I know a lot of guys that appreciate a naked belly button!

no you dont. Its actually better if you have a bit of skin so the piercer does not have to clamp as much
