  1. ew. unless their older than 18..NO!

they will be the school S.L.U.T.S

  2. my god it hurt, they clamp you then shove a big needle through, im so glad i had it done though, it hurt less than a tattoo :)

  3. most good piercing places will only do a belly button when they are unlikely to grow much more....

Many young girls like the idea of it but don't realise that as they stretch and grow (especially during puberty) it can cause many many problems...even ripping in severe cases...

so depending on their age etc  pop along to a recommended parlour and see what they say....even pop along to several to get 2nd opinions...

But if they are young and likely to grow, Id avoid it...

    ....and yes it does hurt!!

  4. its depends where u live? uk? u have 2 be 18 but if ur daughter is younger a parent will have 2 go with them and its not S****y it looks really nice i got mines done when i was 18 im now 27 and i dont think there is anything wrong with it and it DOESNT hurt at all getting it done so dont listen 2 any1 that says it does hurt get ur daughter 2 sqeeze the area where it gets pearced and she will notice u dont have much feeling in this area its NOT sore i promise

    hope this helps :)

  5. its different in each state. usually around 14-16 is legal age.

sometimes you can find it 13.

any age w/ parental consent though.

they use a big *** needle and some prongs that they use to pull your belly button out or whatever and then they stick in the needle. then put the ring in.

i heard it doesnt hurt that bad if they numb it correctly.

  6. I have read the other answers while preparing this one, and sadly there is a lot of hog-wash there.

Unlike tattoos, there are no age limits except in a few London Boroughs (Check my source), but I would suggest that you are there with them, unlike tattoos, in the event that they get fed up with them, they can just take them out, the little holes will heal up leaving just a little dot as a scar.

Last year, it was my fiance Caz's 40th birthday and I took her to Benidorm for a long weekend, one day we passed a piercing salon and she confessed it was something she had wanted to do for the past 20 years but because of other circumstances could not.

My son and daughter in law had given her 50 Euross to spend on something she liked while away, so we decided to do this.

The salon was run by a couple of ex pats so language was no problem, being an avid photographer I took plenty of photographs so without being big headed, this will be as close as you can get without being there.

First of all they pinch the piece of skin they are going to pierce with tongs:

They then push the needle through and slide a thin tube around it, she felt very little pain:

Then they simply slide the bar down the centre of the tube, slide out the tube and attach the end of the bar, easy peasy:

They say not to remove the bar for twelve weeks until it heals.

  7. both of my daughters had it done....both under 18 (they're not classed as s***s, its just a fashion thing!!!!)

use a small clamp to pull skin forward then pierce with a needle followed immediately by a belly bar, both daughters never felt it. although my eldest went on to have her nose done and said that hurt her more.

please make sure you go to a reputable piercer as the belly button is most sensitive to infection, just keep it clean. good luck

  8. In the uk it's 16 and to be honest i had nothing but problems with mine and that's the thing everyone is different. Mine went bad and rejected twice so i gave up. Will leave a tiny scar too. If she is into sports it's probably not the best idea as they are easily ripped out. Mine were done with a large needle then they thread the bar or hoop through and yes it is quite painful!!

  9. well, as long as they have parental permission, she can get it done even if she is under 18

they pierce it the same way they do ears, with a gun type thing that goes through the skin quickly

it does hurt but you can get stuff from the drugstore that you rub on the skin and it numbs the area. so she wont feel it when she gets it pierce

if she does get it done, make sure she cleans it properly and when doing sports, but a bandaid over it to protect it

  10. YOU COULD BE 13 BUT YOU HAVE TO GO WITH A PARENT SO THEY COULD DO IT..AND IT DOESNOT REALLY HURT WELL THAT DEPENDS ON THE PERSON'S SKIN.. AND THEY PIERCE IT WITH A SPECIAL TOOL .. I DID MINES BY MY SELF AND IT DID NOT HURT BUT IT'S BETER TO GO TO A PROFESSIONAL BECAUSE U MIGHT NOT KNOW HOW TO DO IT AND IT WILL GET INFECTED..

    SO GOOD LUCK

  11. HI I HAVE MY BELLY BUTTON PIERCED AND  NO  IT DOES   NOT HURT  AND  YOU  HAVE TO BE AT LEAST 18 YRS  OLD HOPE I HELPED

  12. you have to be 18 unless you have a parent or guardian

they just stick the needle in and shove the piercing in right after it.

it just feels like a little pinch, not bad at all

and NO they will not be the school s***s, practically everybody has them these days, everybody on my dance team has them lol

but the really S****y thing to do now a days is to get your tongue pierced

  13. the reason they don't do it on young people is that they are likely to grow and the piercing will reject

    basically it will grow out

    its usually 16 but

you can be younger if you have parental conset

they lie you down on a bed

sometimes they freeze the area so it doesn't hurt as much but this is not guarantied

they take the section of skin they are going to pierce with a pair of tongues

they push the needle through quickly

the needle is hollow so they put the bar through the needle and once its in take the needle out

    they s***w on the ball

and then they give you aftercare instructions

it does hurt but only for a little while then it throbs abit after

  14. Hi there, you need to be either 16 or 18, cant remember which.

I got mine done when I turned 18. They clamped my belly button then sprayed it with like a freezing spray. The lady then pierced it. I didn't feel a thing. She said right gonna put your  jewellery in now. I was like wow is that it. After it, the only I felt was a slight throbbing now & again which didn't hurt. That was nearly 4 years ago now & I still love it.

    Take care x
