Question:

Belly button piercing question?

So I got my belly button pierced and it kinda pushed out. I may have started wearing the heavy ones too soon. So I got it done a second time and that time it got infected so I took it out. There is a scar and it isn't all the way healed yet. It's taking so long! How do I get it to heal faster? And should I get it redone or will it reject again? How long does it usually take to heal?

  1. If you get it redone I would recommend titanium or gold because your body is obviously sensitive to metals. Also STOP TOUCHING IT!! i know you are.. If your trying to heal it than use H2Ocean (Seasalt solution specifically for piercing) When it is fully healed there WILL be a pretty hefty scare because you couldnt stop messing with it and you pierced it twice, to help with the scare use a vitamin E ointment or lotion. It helps with time. But seriouslly stop touching it. your just contaminating it everytime and this cause infection and worse scaring.

  2. Put some vitamin E oil on it twice a day to help it heal faster and prevent scarring. And dont expose your stomach to the sun it will make the scar worse, Another way to heal faster it mix warm water and sea salt, not table, and put in in a cup and put the cup on your stomach and when you get it pierced again tell them about your problems and ask them to pierce more skin so it doesnt push out

  3. Just do sea salt soaks to make it better!

    - 1/8 tsp or sea salt and 8 oz. of water

Yes you should get it re-done but just get longer rings then they wont reject and also take care of it so it wont reject!

It takes 6months to 1 year to properly heal!

    Good Luck Hun =]
