Belly button piercing really tight and dry?

Question

is that sign that its just healing or should i do something about it?

i clean it twice a day with some stuff i bought from where i got it pierced and soak it in sea salt once or twice a day

mine feels the same way and i got mine a week ago today.

i think it is just part of the healing process. if it is causing you major pain, or you just know something is wrong, go back to your piercer. for now, just continue cleaning it the way you have been, and don't remove the piercing and you should be okay.

the salt is probably drying the skin out, you should only use one product, usually the stuff they give you, but it you want to use both then i suggest using a little less salt and see if that makes any difference
