  1. If you wear tiny little tight shirts to show it off, you will look like a s**t.

That fad is nearly over, you know. Even the celebrities are removing theirs.

  2. Of course it hurts, a needle is going through one side of your skin and out the other.

Anyway, clean it with antibacterial soap and soak it with warm water and sea salt. It will ooze a little after you get it, but its part of the healing process, gettin all the nasty gunk out. Just clean it regularly.

Dont worry about what people think. If you're getting it for you and not to show off to boys.. you should be fine.

  3. Don't worry about what people think. There just jerks, everyone has some kind of piercing now days. It will hurt for about two days, just don't sleep on your tummy. ask the piercer what to clean it with. But use peroxide to keep dirt and germs out and neosporin.

  4. Well, make sure you go to a place that has a good reputation. Preferably a place that's been there for at least 2-3 years doing business, and make sure they have an autoclave machine (it sterilizes instruments). I say this because first you ought to think about potential health risks, like Hepatitis C, HIV, etc.

As soon as you find a place that's legit then i'd say you should go and maybe get the piercing done with a 14-gage needle since most of the good-looking belly rings come in 14 gage size.  When I got my navel ring I did a 16 gage because its smaller and heals faster, but i couldn't find anything decent to wear in that size. Anyway, I ended up letting close out of frustration.

You can use q-tips (don't double-dip either) to clean it with hydrogen peroxide or alcohol.  usually they give instructions on how to do this.  Make sure to ask any questions or concerns you may have.

Oh and it didn't hurt, just felt like a pinch. But also know I had 16 gage so I don't know what a 14 feels like.

  5. Hurt: not much at all te only thing that hurt a bit was the jewelry going through but it was fine after and i could do things after it with no problem.

Clean it with salt water and morning and night clean it with a q-tip warm water and antibacterial soap. and then spray it with salt water throughout the day.

I got it regardless of that stereotype because i wanted one to extenuate my stomach which is the part of my body i like. If you are worrid about that stereotype maybe you shouldn't get it but it is up to YOU.

  6. S****y? Yes... if you're goal is to attract half hard, half drunk frat boys then go for it.

Other than that, check out google and search for details on the process.

  7. It doesn't hurt alot but it all depends on the person. To be honest im scared of needles and im not very fond of pain and seem to hurt more than others would. You  can feel it go in but it's not much pain just feels quite uncomfortable. But they clamp it  and spray it so it sort of numbs it too,  that helps. It's gonna hurt a little after though. Clean it with salt water and maybe go to a pharmasist or ask your piercer to recomend an anti bacterial spray for it too.

If it's still red or sore or uncomfortable after 6 weeks i suggest you take it  out and put in a real gold bar, cause you might have a reaction to the metal. They say it can't happen but trust me it can, and it's not a pretty site or feeling. I have a nasty scar from mine and had to take it out but i don't regret getting it done =)

And no, it's not S****y, it's very common these days!

    Good luck! x

  8. bellybutton piercings are nottt S****y dont worry. it doesnt hurt at all, i was nervous too.. but i squeezed my friends hand more before it happened.  and ive also had the top done twice, and the bottom done too. the piercer shouldd give you stuff to clean it with.

    tips:

    dont play with it!

dont lay on your stomache lol

and thats really it. good luck

  9. My daughter got it and she is afraid of needles and it didn't hurt her one bit, she didn't even feel it go in.  You wash it in the shower with soap and water, and she also used bactine (spray kind).  They'll give you a sheet on how to clean it and all that anyways.  You can't go in a pool for 6 weeks and stuff like that so if you're planning anything like that I wouldn't just yet.  I don't think a piercing means you're a s**t.
