  1. it is usually about $30 - $40 to get it pierced. The price of the belly-button ring is what is going to cost the most.

If you don't like pain like me then you don't like this. Although it only last a second just like getting your ears pierced.

I see nothing wrong with having a belly-button ring, you must use daily hygiene though in order to keep out infection.

  2. Mine cost $40 + a 15 dollar tip

I went to a really good place to.

Don't listen to other people,i promise it doesn't hurt horribly.

I know you're probably scared, but if you want it badly enough it won't matter

When i walked in i was so scared, but i was just like "ok do it,get it over with",and i laid down and closed my eyes.My friend took pictures so that's the only part i saw of it- it was over before i knew it,probably 2minutes tops.

They all get infected, but you REALLY need to take care of it- washing daily with dial soap & spraying salt water on it(it can come in a can) works amazingly.

Actually my mom made me take it out, because i didn't "deserve" it,so i'm hopefully going back to get it done again.

If it hurt terribly,i wouldn't go back a second time, and i don't handle pain well AT ALL.

I promise, its all mainly in your head, just don't psych yourself up too much or you'll end up like my friend(who is DEATHLY afraid of needles) waiting for 2hours before she FINALLY decides shes gonna get her nose done.

I PROMISE,IT ISNT AS BAD AS YOU THINK ITS GOING TO BE

    (:

But make sure they sterilize EVERYTHING,its worth the money to go to a good place to get it done.

  3. i payed 35

it didnt hurt it just felt like a pinch

its up to u if you want it or not

  4. well the price i'm not too sure because it varies from place to place but i do know it can cost anywhere up to $100. If you're good with pain it will only hurt a little but if you're not it will probably seem to hurt much more. you def. should get it because they're really cute and def. worth it no matter what because you can show it off and it can be hidden for school or a job so it's the perfect spot. if you are going to get it done:

    Good Luck =D

hope everything works out oh yea and don't play with it alot like you should only touch it when you clean it because even if you don't think your hands are dirty they could be and playing with it too much WILL make if get infected....i'm going to pierce mine myself but i also pierced my nose myself so yea

  5. Easiest piercing besides earlobes, easy to clean/maintain

Takes a long time to grow back in if ever, so you can take it out and put it back in at anytime.

Call around for pricing, I think it's different everywhere

Might as well,  you won't even notice it in a couple weeks anyway.

The first day is just a bit awkward when you sit down cause your belly squishes together when you sit. (well, mine does anyway)

I don't think they're particularly 90's, trashy at times, yes.

  6. Mine costs $75, depends on where you go and ring..

Hurts like h**l... Worst than anything else really, dunno bout nipple..

Go for it, only live once...

  7. Those are so 90's

  8. mine cost $30.

It's a sharp pinch and a sharper pinch when they insert the jewelry & pull the needle out.

I think you should get it but if your doing any sports, you should wait until the season is over. You don't want it to reject.

  9. Mine cost about 40 dollars but another place wanted 85. It really doesn't hurt all that much, like a little pinch on the top of your belly button. I'm a baby when it comes to pain so I can tell you it wasn't that bad. If you wanna get it done, then, you should. Professionally that is. Don't wanna risk anything. It takes attention and patience and you need to clean it at least twice a day. Mine isn't sore now and I got it done about a week ago. You just need to keep an eye on it for infection and take care of it as soon as you notice it by putting sea salt water on it (1/4 teaspoon of sea salt in 8 oz. cup of warm water) and going back to your piercer for advice.

  10. I got mine done when I was 13 (now 19) and the pain lasts for only seconds, like any other piercing. I actually fainted after I got mine pierced, but that's only because I was so nervous leading up to it.

The REAL pain comes if you don't take care of it. My best friend got hers pierced with me at the same time. She, however, was very eager to get a new, cool ring in before hers was truly healed and ready for a new ring. As a result, her ring bled a lot and scabbed and pussed for a long time. It looked disgusting and she hated it. She totally regretted the rush to put in a new ring.

So, my advice: don't be in a hurry to get something cute in there. Leave the standard bar or ring. It's not like it's going away anytime soon.  Clean it daily and rotate it. Don't take it out and replace it with a new ring for a few months. And don't touch it too much.

As for pricing, mine was only $35 if I recall correctly. I just got a standard ring put in because that's easier to rotate than a bar, so it's cleaner and helps the hole develop correctly.

Also, another thing: I stopped wearing mine about two years ago, and the hole is still entirely there. I can still put a ring through it. So be sure you're willing to have a hole in your bellybutton for quite some time.

  11. I have my belly button pierced & personally, I like it a lot. However, it's a piercing that can easily become trashy, a lot of girls hike their shirts up & get belly button rings that hang down to their knees & you see it hanging down. It should be a pleasant surprise, not made known to the whole world. I paid $20 for mine & the women told me to clean it with alcohol, which is a big mistake. It needs bactine to keep it moist & salt water to really disinfect it. It doesn't hurt at all, the first 3 days or so it may be a little tender to the touch. It needs to be cleaned about 3 times a day. And when they say don't change it for a month or even longer, they mean it. It takes a long time for it to heal, even now, 4 months later, when I take out my ring to really clean it by boiling it & putting it in salt water, which takes about 3 minutes, I have to push it through the top hole a little because a thin layer of skin forms. Just make sure you get it done professionally. Good luck :).
