Belly dancing party?

Question

My mother is turning 60 and I want to have one of those in-home belly dancing lesson things for she and her friends. Anyone know how I can go about doing this? We live in St. Petersburg, Florida.

I know my instructor does this, unfortunately we're not in Florida.  You can e-mail or call some belly dance instructors to find out if they do birthday party classes.  You will want to be sure that you discuss it thoroughly with them so you know just what to expect.  The dancer/instructor will need to know the location and time/date of the party, as well as how many are expected to attend the party, if you will provide a sound system or they will need to bring theirs, etc.  Discuss any details that you feel should be discussed.  

You might want to start by checking with a gym or recreation center in your area. Sometimes they have dance classes, and those teachers may also do private lessons.

Look in your paper maybe there is a company in your area. You can also go to yellow pages.com and search for a business that has belly dancing lessons.
