  1. i would get it anyways im planning on getting one on my birthday but i dont no yet  i would still get one

  2. UUUU yeah had the exact same problem. But did it anyway. And I love it :P And my mom loves it too now. :)

  3. do it without telling her

  4. it took me 2 and a half years to convince my mum to let me have it done ask her what she doesn't like about it and research stuff about. tell her if it goes infected u will take it out immediately(doesn't mean that has to be true) and if they say"your still growing" tell them you are old enough to get it done and it is safe at this age.

do not get it done behind their backs as soon they will find out and probably loose trust in you

    good luck x

  5. just ask her why not

is it because its considered "s**y"

or because it'll damage your body?

    if the first answer,

tell her you'll be wearing shirts over it ( which you will not of course =p )

and tell her that you want it for you not nobody else

if the second one, tell her it'll heal and close after you take it out for a long time, it'll look like there was never a hole in it from the start

  6. You need to see it from your parent's point of view, there are alot of risks and they probably just wants to protect you.

It could be that they're worried about infection, in which case ask them to come with you and find the most reputable place you can. If they see how seriously they take hygiene they may reconsider.

They could be worried about you not liking it and having a scar, in which case find someone who has let theirs heal up and show them it, they'll see it's hardly visible and it may put their mind at rest.

If you can prove that you're mature enough to discuss it without losing your temper, they may decide that you're mature enough to have it done.

  7. it's your body; you can either get it with, or without their consent.

you should be able to express yourself any way you want.

that's how i got my lip piercing (:

  8. my mom did that too.. when i was 16 i just went and got one.. and she didnt freak when i showed her.. i ended up showing her the day of because I cannot keep secrets from my mom.. id just tell her that you really want one, theyre really nice looking and theyre not permanent..something like that.. and tell her youll pay for it... it usually works... or just get it :P your body, would she really find out?

  9. the best thing to do is to BARGIN! believe me it really works.

  10. It depends how old you are. If you are under 16 then you can't get it done (legally) without a parents consent. Therefore you wouldn't be able to do, or would have to risk doing it illegally (the thought of which makes me feel sick - dirty needles, unsterile equipment e.t.c).

You could try asking your parents explaining the reasons you want to get it done, and maybe offer to pay with your own money!?

However if they are really not gonna budge, then I would really stress you NOT to get it done behind their back, if something goes wrong, or you get an infection then that will be pretty hard to deal with alone. Plus you could risk the fact that your parents won't really trust you in the future, therefore putting further issues into jeapody.

Good luck, I hope your parents agree as it is obviously something you would really like to get done and I think they look amazing!

  11. My mum wouldn't let me so when I was 14 I went behind her back and got it done anyway.

She laughed at me when i showed her.

4 years on I still love it.
