Belmont Stakes 2008 around 3 pm can I still expect to find my pre-paid preferred parking? Best food service?

I have reserved seats and prepaid parking, but would prefer to arrive mid-afternoon but don't know if this is practical. Also, I see on the internet that most of the restaurants at Belmont Park are open "by invitation" that day. If I don't want fast-food, what are the options?
