  1. As Red has said (that sort of rhymes) cc=cubic centimeters, which is the size of the engine, more specifically the displacement inside the cylinders.

I don't know anything about a Class 2B license.  In California there are different categories of motorcycle license, an M1 (which is what I have) you can ride any motorcycle, of any size engine.  An M2 is for scooters with a maximum displacement of I believe 150cc. Here in the states, you don't need to start off with an M2 before receiving an M1.  You can just go ahead and take the test. I know that in Europe and other countries, they have a graduated license and you have to ride a smaller cc bike before moving up to a bigger cc bike. At least in the U.S. there really aren't any 'motorcycles' below 200cc (here it would be classified as a 'scooter').  I do not think any bike below 200cc would even be legal on the freeway. The smallest bikes we have are the Honda 250 Rebel and the 250 Kawasaki Ninja.  There is also a little Chinese bike called the "Zhongshen" or something that is 200 cc's.  But none of these bikes would I feel comfortable riding the freeways with.

If you are in Europe, or country that has a graduated license, then you have alot more choices for 'motorcycles'.  You have the Honda CBR 150 and Aprillia makes alot of less than 200cc bikes.   You can also get used bikes like the 125-150cc Honda NSR,  Yamaha TZ (series--TZR, TZM), Kawasaki KR-150.

If you want to know the size of the engine in cc's, it will usually say what it is on the bike. For example--Yamaha v-star 650, is 650cc's, 250 Rebel is 250 cc's, etc.  Good luck, and ride safe.

  2. CC = Cubic Centimeters. The displacement of the bikes cylinder. So a 200cc bike has 200 cubic centimeters of displacement.
