Or actually maybe he should try to switch codes, what do you think ? He would have to be a little half back or winger perhaps, I seriously doubt that he would be tough enough or could withstand the tackling and impacts produced in League, compared to that fairy, aerial ping pong game, played by sissie girls !

  1. At least Benny only ever put his finger to his nose, unlike John Hopoate, who really should never do that.  (after the "Crouching Dragon, Hidden Tiger" incident)

Then you have the conversationalists like Andrew Johns and Alfy Langer ... people who obviously haven't withstood the impacts of the game ...

why DO they bother with post match interviews in that game ...

    Just record:

"ah, yeah, yer know, the big blokes done real good, dey hit it up real hard you know.  Yeah, nah, it were real good mate."

... and we wouldn't have to listen to Matty Johns pretending he has a second brain cell.

  2. Well Wayne  Ben never wore the Australian uniform so he can't disgrace it unlike Andrew Johns who did.

Come to think of he would fit in if he swapped codes Joey and  Wendall could show him some of their moves.

  3. No.

  4. DISGRACED in the mould of say,John hoppuate,Wendall sailor,Julian O'Neil,Craig gower, the entire Canterbury bulldogs team,is that what you meant? plenty of sports people disgrace them selfs from all kinds of different sports Ben is just the latest and won't be the last.

  5. Ben wouldn't be able to play any kind of sport right now and no he would not survive.  His addiction seems to be getting worse, and he must be suffering from depression as well with all the hate and vitriol spouted in the media and on blogs everywhere, also he just lost a good mate and he's being blamed for everything.  He needs to get over the addiction before he could be relied upon to play sport again.

  6. well la-de-da to you...so you're trying to stir things up by comparing league to AFL and using Ben Cousins as bait.

Ben Cousins at his best, would more than handle the rugby boys.  They can't even take a mark without being lifted by 3 or 4 of their team mates for fksake!

  7. Leave him alone, He has had a good career in WC Eagles and he has lots of fans too. Since the drugs incident people have been supportive of Ben to help him get well.

  8. Let's get Ben Cousins over to League.

He will love the NRL and being a winger will be perfect for him.

After all, he can't keep away from those white lines.

  9. He could always try NFL. As a, whatever it is where they run and catch the ball and Touchdown... running quarterback...??

  10. the name Andrew Johns comes to mind!!!!!!!!!

  11. No he couldn't play league but I can't see chain smokin' - ever whinging- Brett Finch playing AFL either. He wouldn't even make it in reserves unless he had 21 dedicated players all trying to make him look good.
